Sunday Quote: Alan Bennett on reading

The best moments in reading are when you come across something – a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things – which you had thought special and particular to you. And now, here it is, set down by someone else, a person you have never met, someone even who is long dead. And it is as if a hand has come out, and taken yours. – Alan Bennett

You are so right about that Judith. Blogs and connecting with readers can see amazing synchronicities and warm connections.

Books are just great. I am enjoying watching my 2 year old grandson “reading” books to me and to himself these days:-)

I scribble down quotes I like but it would be interesting to note passages, thoughts, words, ideas etc that others write that resonate. Thank you for that feedback:-)
