We seem to have been shrouded in clouds here for so many days this month. A month in which we should be experiencing sunny, summer weather.
Currently the sun often shows itself with great beauty as it sets. The sky last night was very dramatic.
And today, later in the afternoon, there was clear blue sky a way off to sea towards the northwest. But no sun has shone down on us at all despite the tempting teases.
Perhaps tomorrow…….
We’ve had lots of warm sun the last couple of days. I hope some is heading your way.
That is good to hear. I hope we do get a run of sunny days to lift spirits and provide some Vitamin D for us all.
It’s so frustrating, isn’t it? Here in Auckland we’ve had wind and rain, ever since the weekend.
The rain we had was welcome this week but the lack of sun for such a long time is very frustrating as you are finding too Juliet.
I totally sympathise – we’re waiting for our first summer for two years. Hope the sun returns soon for you!
Just after I posted this the sun did come out but it was gone again very quickly….perhaps tomorrow the sun will shine on us.
I hope you get some sunshine soon. We’ve just recorded our coldest and wettest and greyest summer on record here in Sydney. I’ve heard NZ hasn’t had the best of seasons either
Thanks. It has been a dull summer here. Lots of grey cloudy weather. The sun has been out on both afternoons this weekend so I’ve got out and enjoyed that. Let’s hope for an Australasian Indian Summer to pep us all up.
