Sunset photos minutes apart

Last night I saw some really interesting cloud formations in the evening and took this photo.

Within minutes the light in the room changed dramatically and I took this photo – yes the same one I put on my earlier post today.

The contrast was incredible. I’ll be on watch tonight too. The cloud formations and sunsets this summer have been fascinating but puzzling. The sky has provided much to wonder over this summer and early autumn.

Thanks Jo. Sadly the day dawned cloudy and dull again! However it was very warm and calm so we got out by the sea for a walk today. I’ve just taken a photo of tonight’s sunset while gentle rain was falling and the clouds thick all around. It is as if the sun is trying to apologise for not being around much during the day and reminding us that it is still there by charming us with unusual sunsets 🙂

It was an amazing shift in the light. I hope the sun shines on you soon Juliet. Perhaps it is waiting until you finish your book writing:-)
