We had a sharp frost here this morning but by 10.30am Jazz was making the best use of a lovely warm, tin roof, flooded with sunshine. Cats are wise and just know where the warm spots are, even in winter.
I hope the weather is being kind to you too, wherever you live in the world.
Look at him, the cute lazy fluffball! 🙂 That can’t be the comfiest surface to sleep on! Sunshine?! Winter in NZ definitely looks better than summer in Scotland!
Jazz had been very, very busy earlier in the morning checking out gas heating levels:-) Should I put a cat bed up on that roof Jo? Our local weather stats tell me that we’ve had 33.2 hours of sunshine this month. We all enjoyed the bright sunlight today. Hopefully you will get something vaguely summerish soon? Last summer here was a non-event so we know your pain.
That sounds like a very demanding schedule. Yes, I think a cat bed, perhaps with refreshments, and stairs down in case his legs are tired 🙂 Perhaps we will get an Indian summer, which would be wonderful!
Jazz knows that his research into heating levels is very important work so he stays dedicated to the effort:-) As a more mature gent he would like stairs to assist in getting up and down to his sun bed. We did have a very late Indian summer and then winter hit with a wham. Temperatures in parts of NZ are to hit -5C overnight – frosty stuff. We have cloud so it won’t be as cold.
That’s a great photo. Perfect summer day here 🙂
Thanks Judy. He looked so contented…..and very sound asleep.
What a wise cat to find the perfect sunny spot. We’ve had wonderful sunny days down here too,
He was wise to enjoy the sunny day. We’ve had two sunny days in a row now…..amazing! I’m glad you’ve seen plenty of sunshine too Ruth.
oh, he is basking so contentedly!
I stayed well back from him as I took the photo so he could stay relaxed, soaking up that precious sunshine.
