It has been a dry season.
Our summer since mid January has been near perfect – hot, dry and calm or breezy with only the occasional deluge of rain.
The outdoor conditions have been mirrored indoors here with one issue and another needing a lot of resourcefulness and resilience.
Today I needed to fill my well.
I needed to play.
And seek treasure.
I needed to see growth and development.
I needed to hear waves breaking.
To witness flow.
To soak up colour and beauty and creativitiy.
To know that “all will be well and all will be well and all will be well.”
All will be well, somehow or other. Love the blue sky dreaming. Did you manage to dabble your toes or fingers in the sea?
Thank you. Sadly no dabbling or paddling today but I soaked up the goodness.
Hooray for the soaking.
Oooh what cute. What a nice shots of your grandchildren.
To hear the waves breaking, to look to a wider horizon, blue sky dreaming, witness flow and find colour and beauty and creativitiy. You have an eye for the beautiful things we have in our life.
Thank you Diana. I was very fortunate today with so many beautiful things to offer me refreshment.
How wonderful that you have so many ways of filling your well, Lynley. Hope you feel replenished now.
I did feel blessed today Juliet. I came home feeling refreshed. I may need to go and seek some more tomorrow:-)
