Yes. If Australia is “Down Under,” then I must be living in “Up Over.” It is Christmas day morning, the sun is shining, and it is 22 degrees outside. Brrrrrr!
Ha ha Jo. We were promised gales and rain for Xmas Day but got bright sunshine and a stiff northwester!
It has been grey and rainy since then tho!
Happy holidays to you!
Lovely photos, and a nice reminder of the beautiful sunny day we had on Christmas Day morning, the likes of which we haven’t seen since here in Christchurch! Mind you, looking at the news tonight of flooding in the Coromandel, and the forecast for the east coast of the North Island tomorrow, I don’t think we’re alone in missing out on some sun (Invercargill and the deep south seem to be hogging it at present)!
Merry Christmas….definitely looks warmer there than it is here!
Beautiful flowers.
Thanks Mary. The flowers are matching the strong sunshine we have enjoyed this Christmas Day. I’m guessing you are in the northern hemisphere?

I like “Up Over”……We had 22 degrees yesterday for Xmas but that is Celsius not your Farhenheit!!! Keep warm and Happy Holidays!
What happy summery photos. Happy Christmas to you Lynley.
Happy Christmas to you Juliet. I did enjoy your sun pictures recently and the sun shone on us today after a bleak, blustery day yesterday.
Wasn’t it an amazingly beautiful day?
A vast improvement on the weather here yesterday. I’m glad it was shared around:-)
Yes, I heard the weather was awful Christmas Eve day.
It was and we got very little rain for all that bother unfortunately:-(
Wow, I need sunglasses! Here in Scotland the weather is atrocious – howling gales and lashing rain. Thanks for the sunshine, Lyn!

Beautiful photos. Happy New Year 🙂
Thanks Annie. Happy holidays to you too! I have been enjoying your photos.

We had a great Christmas Day too but since then nothing but dreadful high humidity and showers, rain, drizzle but no flooding thank goodness.
