Who would you ask to sit with you on this seat and talk awhile? To sit in the evening sunshine, with the grass long and soft around you and the view pleasant?
This photograph was taken by a family member and kindly shared.
It was particularly nice last evening when the sun came out after a wet, grey day.
The GG’s Tui is a young one. I bet we could sit and enjoy seeing the pollen on its nose!
They are amazing birds. Briscoes could mean more stuff to live with 😉
A Swiss Ball has found its way into our front garden over the weekend. So far no one has claimed it…..another item to declutter for me once I decide it is truly lost property.
We live on a sloping street so I can only imagine that it has rolled down the hill and entered our garden. I have lodged it in a carton and written on the ball “Do I belong to you?” in marker pen and positioned it in a visible position to passing downhill traffic.
If the wind gets up again it may well become a traffic hazard on the busy road adjacent to our home.
Hmm McDonald’s rubbish…..grrr.
Looks so restful. Actually you could sit with me and we could enjoy the Governor-General’s tui https://www.facebook.com/GovernorGeneralNewZealand/photos/a.120138741393514.22870.115803278493727/750347745039274/?type=1

Ha! Yes! I was also in Briscoes at the weekend and saw Jason placemats and mugs with Tuis. On sale! I was sorely tempted but I resisted.

Oh goodness! A Swiss Ball! The only thing that blew into our garden was rubbish from a McDonald’s burger. 😦
