Looks like that one is keeping an eye on you. 🙂
I was being watched. They know me and my regular sugar water refilling. There were several Tui in the Melia tree with this lovely one. I think there are wee insects to feast on in the leaves at the moment and the Melia is but a swoop or two from the feeders:-)
🙂 I don’t get watched by birds but when the dog and the cat are outside before breakfast and supper they glue their little faces to the window and watch my every move.
Love and food go together don’t they?
I wish you could hear one of the regular Tui as he/she learns to sing. What began as the most bizarre sounds is slowly developing to mimic the experienced singers. I don’t have a phone that records sadly.
That would be lovely to hear.
It is a very interesting process to give attention to at the moment.
