He is beautiful! Glad to see you are getting some early signs of spring. We will be having signs of autumn soon, if the cold weather doesn’t let up.
I’m going to try and get closer to the wee birds IF the weather obliges. I’ve trimmed the creeper back to help photo angles. Cold weather in summer time is hard work.

What type of hedge are they enjoying?
I am not really sure. I think it is a type of ake ake.
They are happy wee birds and great fun to watch.
We see these birds at our feeder too, but I haven’t been able to get as close. That’s a lovely shot.
