The daffodils are out in the garden even though the temperatures are icy and the skies mostly grey.
The light is often white and stark which meant the feijoa leaves took on a very wintery look in this photograph.
Such a contrast between the brightness of the yellow daffodil and the white/grey/dull silver tones of the feijoa photo. It’s bitter here today again, but right now there is a brilliant sunset.
The daffodils are a delight given our bitter weather of July. I think I spotted a grape hyacinth in a shady corner so I must investigate. Good that you have a sign of spring.
I must check on my blog to see when the daffs appeared last year. They surged ahead in the mild June weather and were not deterred by this miserable July weather.
lovely~
Thank and a sign of much better weather to come…..thank goodness for Daffodils.

It is a real contrast. We have been teased with sunsets promising good things as per the shepherds but by morning generally another dull day.
Fingers crossed for a better day tomorrow.
Lovely to see your daffodils, none yet in my garden, but hyacinths are flowering.
