Annual breast check day never feels ordinary. However it is all done for today and I have a big tick by my name.
I stopped at a domain along the way and spent 40 minutes among the rhododendrons, azaleas, kowhais, leafing green trees and beautiful native ferns and plants. Here is a flower to celebrate good health and caring health professionals.
As an 11 year survivor of breast cancer I encourage all the women I know to have their annual mammograms. Good for you Lynley. 🙂
Thanks Judith. You are a great ambassador for regular checks.
As a breast cancer nurse navigator and a woman I applaud your diligence.
My Mum had a breast cancer detected early by mammogram and always encouraged all women to follow the advice and get checked.
The health professionals are hot on regular checks too. It makes sense.
Can you tell me more about your role please? What does a breast cancer nurse navigator do?
